 Art. 1.

The wrappers and labelling devices in the packaging of eggs, as foreseen by E.E.C. regulation n. 1619/68 of 15 October 1968 and the relative E.E.C. regulation of application n.95/69 of 17 January 1969, conform to the models reported in the attached A) of this decree and extracted from sheets of paper without wood of a minimum weight of 80 grams per square metre, in sizes 152 x 90 mm with the exception of wrappers for small packaging carrying the word "extra", which are of sizes 120 x 28 mm. The wrappers and labelling devices as stated in the preceding sub-paragraph carry print in the colour black:
  1. the ufficial mark constituted by the State coat of arms;
  2. a letter or combination of letters of the alphabet which identify the series and a number that identifies the single wrapper or the single labelling device in the respective series.


Art 2.

The check wrappers of the packaging, as foreseen by art.11 of the E.E.C. regulation n.95/69 conform to the models carried in the attached B) of this decree and extracted from sheets of paper without wood, of minimum weight 80 grams per square metre, the large packaging in sizes 152 x 90 mm and the small packaging 120 x 28 mm carrying the word "extra".
The wrappers as per the preceding sub-paragraph are of white colour and the indications carried on them are of red colour; the word "extra" is in italic charcters 10 mm high. They carry in print:
  1. the ufficial mark constituted by the State coat of arms;
  2. a letter or combination of letters of the alphabet which identifies the series and a number that identifies the single wrapper in the respective series.


Art. 3.

The price of the wrappers and labelling devices as per art. 1 are fixed as follows:
- three lire for each wrapper for small packaging carrying the word "extra";
- thirty-six lire for each labelling device of any other type
The wrappers and labelling devices are distributed to authorized packaging centres that make a written request for them in two copies, from the Ministry of agriculture and forests. The request must have attached the receipt from the provincial treasury confirming payment, in favour of item n.3584 of the state foreseen for earnings for the year 1972 and corresponding items for the subsequent years, for an amount corresponding to the price of the wrappers and labelling devices. The request must also contain details of the same receipt.
The office in charge of distribution registers on the request the series and numbers of wrappers and labelling devices distributed. The same requests must also show the date and office stamp as well as the signature of the official responsible.
Of the two copies of the request, duly registered, one is conserved by the above-mentioned and the other is delivered or returned to the applicant.

Art. 4.

A committee is established at the Ministry of agriculture and forests with the task of providing coordination in the application of the law of 3 May 1971, n.419 and E.E.C. regulations n.1619/68 of 15 October 1968 and n.95/69 of 17 January 1969.
This committee, the members of which are nominated by ministerial decree, is formed thus:
  1. an official of the Ministry with the duties of president;
  2. three representatives of the producers, one of whom representing the cooperatives, where they exist, nominated by the organizations of the category;
  3. a representative of the wholesalers;
  4. a representative of the retailers;
  5. a representative of the consumers.
The functions of secretary of the committee are carried out by an official of the Ministry.

Art. 5.

The movement of wrappers and labelling devices as per the preceding articles is kept in evidence with appropriate book-keeping subject to judicial accounting in accordance with art.74 of the law of general book-keeping of the State and articles 624 and subsequent of the relevant regulation. The cost of printing and distribution of the wrappers and labelling devices is attributed to the appropriate item n.1456 of the state foreseen for the expenditure of the Ministry for agriculture and forests for the year 1972 and corresponding items for subsequent years. To the same item will be attributed all expenses necessary for the execution of specific checks for application of the law n.419 of 3 May 1971, including therein those relative to personnel from outside the Administration of agriculture and forests utilized in accordance with art.4, second sub-paragraph, of the stated law.
