History
Founded in 1981, our company was among the pioneers in egg packaging. Today, with a diversified range of products, we offer solutions to the food sector to over 400 customers around the world.
Through continuous investment in innovation, we have progressively improved our products and manufacturing processes, enhancing quality while reducing the environmental impact of our production.
1981
Celplast was founded as one of the first companies to offer egg packaging solutions. Lightweight and durable plastic products designed to guarantee maximum protection and hygiene during transport.
1985
Our production growth led us to relocate to a larger and more structured headquarter in Vigonza, near Padua. This facility — continuously upgraded over the years — remains the heart of our operations.
1990 – 2000
With the expansion of our egg tray range, entry into international markets and collaboration with large-scale retail, the company evolved from a small business into a structured industrial operation, becoming a market reference point in the early 2000s.
2008
We obtained UNI EN ISO 22000:2005 certification, an official recognition of our dedication to food security and quality management.
2009 – 2019
We invested in Research and Development to further enhance product performance. We improved aesthetics, functionality and transparency, adapting packaging to market demands while automating the production lines.
2020
We patented the Giotto pizza plate designed for delivery. The Giotto pizza plate preserves the quality and crispness of the product and adapts to different formats: classic, Neapolitan, Roman pizza and focaccia.
2021
We opened a new logistics and warehouse unit to optimize operations and increase storage capacity — a strategic investment to support company growth and improve customer service efficiency.
2022
We expanded our offering with a new line of food trays: versatile, durable and customizable solutions, ideal for food companies supplying large-scale retail as well as the restaurant and takeaway sector.

Our production process
We manage the entire production cycle within our facilities in the province of Padua: we design models, produce semi-finished materials and manufacture finished products through thermoforming processes.

Our technical department develops models based on markets needs and specific customer requirements.
Raw material
We carefully select raw material in compliance with modern food safety standards, using recyclable and recycled materials.
Semi-finished Materials
Starting from raw materials, we internally produce our semi-finished materials according to customer specifications.
Thermoforming
Modern, technologically advanced equipment ensures precision and consistent product quality.
Screen printing or labeling
We offer the product customization through label application or screen printing up to five colors.
